She wanted desperately for him to find her here. any moment now, she would hear his foot steps coming into the apartment. he would call for her, knowing she was home. she would say nothing. the picture was perfect. he would walk into the bedroom and see the window open, curtains flying with the wind. then he would know she had been waiting for him on the roof. spending time with the stars. she would entice him to join her, he would boyishly refuse. she would smile as she crawled toward him, staring at his luscious face framed in the window. he would clasp her hand in his and she would feel his warmth rush through her chilled body. she would climb back in, into the room that was hers for a weekend. they would laugh and tumble down, sinking into the bed as they enveloped each other with hungry arms. it would be perfect. it would be lovely. it would be like a scene from a movie.
