I am visiting the area, just for pleasure, Monday Tuesday, seeing the country by bus, and it would be nice to meetup with anyone, male or female, who happens to be free and have time to waste showing me around the French Quarter or the lesser known ares. I have tried this before in other cities, and while I have heard stories about travelers meeting nice people on their journeys, I am yet to do so maybe New Orleans would change my luck. I would even like to volunteer for a few while there. I am Black, 45yrs, intelligent, educated, told witty, definitely downtoearth and very aware I am not about to get killed through a CL posting. I will be staying in Harvey, LA.
