I like Barnes Noble. Give me some books and Criterion DVDs, and I'm content. Favorite authors? McEwan, Fitzgerald, Palahniuk, Plath, Woolf, Hornby, Salinger. Prozac Nation is my favorite book of all time. Movies. Top 5? Buffalo '66, Girl on the Bridge, Magnolia, The Virgin Suicides, and Cries and Whispers. Love Bergman, Haneke, Coppola Sofia, Anderson Wes and Paul Thomas, etc. Music. Favorite bands? Neutral Milk Hotel, Joy Division, Radiohead, Florence the Machine, The Velvet Underground. I'm also obsessed with Elliott Smith and Fiona Apple. Writing. I want to be a screenwriter. Frolicking about. My town isn't the most exciting, but wandering aimlessly for hours and discovering places like the roof that would have otherwise gone unnoticed? So great.
